Honorary Fellows’ Directory

Honorary Fellows are elected for life by the British Pharmacological Society in recognition of sustained excellence and leadership in science, healthcare, and public service.
 
The Honorary Fellowship includes Nobel Laureates, international prize-winners, long-standing members of the Society, and those who have advanced the disciplines of Pharmacology, Clinical Pharmacology and Therapeutics through research, leadership and contribution to the British Pharmacological Society.

Clare graduated in physiology at UCL, where she is now Professor of Translational Neuropharmacology.

Professor Roger Summers

Roger Summers is Foundation Professor of Molecular Pharmacology and co-Theme Leader at Monash University and Honorary Professorial Research Fellow at the Florey Institute of Neuroscience and Mental Health, Fellow of the BPS and PhD honoris causa Stockholm University.

Dr Robertson Towart

After graduating from Glasgow University, Dr Towart spent 4 years at Trinity College Dublin, teaching medical students, then worked in the pharmaceutical industry for many years.
