I have been a member of the BPS for over 25 years and elected to Fellow in January 2013.
Chris Langmead is Head of the Servier Drug Discovery Program at the Monash Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences (MIPS); prior to this he was Head of Pharmacology at Heptares Therapeutics, a UK-based biotechnology company (2009-2012) and a neuroscience researcher at GlaxoSmithKline (1998-2009).
After completing BSc (Hons) Pharmacology at Chelsea College (London) in 1970 and PhD at KCHMS in 1974, I stayed at Kings for postdoctoral research until becoming Lecturer in Pharmacology at CXHMS in 1977.

I gained my PhD in biochemistry in 1978 and, as a postdoctoral research fellow, became interested in the role of pharmacogenetics on the variability in human drug metabolism.
Rebecca Lever studied pharmacy at King’s College London, followed by pre-registration training in hospital pharmacy, before returning to King’s to undertake a PhD in pharmacology under the supervision of Professor Clive Page.

Dave Lewis was awarded a BSc in Pharmacology (University of Leeds) and a PhD from the University of Birmingham.
Dr Lewis obtained his BA from Trinity College Cambridge, England in medical sciences and biochemistry and did his clinical training at the University of Wales College of Medicine graduating MBBCh in 1977.
