Marcus Rattray is Professor of Pharmacology and Head of the School of Pharmacy and Medical Sciences at the University of Bradford. Marcus’s current research area is around neuroprotection, interrogating cellular pathways involved in neurodegeneration for identification of compounds with potential for therapeutic development. He has previously worked in areas of addiction and pain. Prior to his current role he worked at National Institute on Drug Abuse, United Medical & Dental Schools of Guy’s & St Thomas’, King’s College London and the University of Reading School of Pharmacy.
