Chris holds a PhD in Biochemistry obtained at the University of Kent where she studied the molecular pharmacology of the Dopamine D2 & D3 receptors with Philip Strange (Prof Emeritus of Pharmacology). Following over 20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry and her experience in molecular pharmacology, biological assay development, high throughput screening and lead identification and optimisation, she has proven her influence and leadership in drug discovery on over 100 project across multiple therapeutic areas. She is author on several papers in journals such as Nature Review Drug Discovery, Journal of Medicinal Chemistry, Journal of Biomolecular Screening and Journal of Pharmacological and Toxicological Methods, as well as author for several book chapters. She is currently holding the position of VP, R&D Chief of Staff at Ipsen.
