Lisa completed her CASE PhD in 2016 at the University of Nottingham, under the supervision of Dr Nicholas Holliday and Prof Stephen Hill (Nottingham), and Dr David Hall (GSK). Her project examined the fitting of operational models to functional data at the dopamine D2 receptor. Following the completion of her PhD, Lisa joined Nxera Pharma (formely Sosei Heptares) as a research scientist in the Molecular Pharmacology team, where she has remained since, and is currently a Lead Scientist. Lisa specialises in the molecular pharmacology of GPCRs, with a particular interest in GPCR drug discovery. At Nxera Pharma, she works on a range of GPCR discovery projects across the pipeline, from target identification and validation through to preclinical. Lisa is also an active participant of the European Laboratory Research & Innovation Group (ELRIG), sitting on the Early Career Professional (ECP) Workgroup to support the promotion of ECP participation in ELRIG events.
