Elizabeth Adeyeye is a specialist registrar in Clinical Pharmacology and Therapeutics and General Internal Medicine at University College London Hospitals NHS Trust. Her clinical work involves managing patients with complex medical problems, polypharmacy and hypertension. Dr Adeyeye is a member of the UCLH Use of Medicine Committee and is involved in medicines optimisation work within the trust. She is an author for the Prescribing Safety Assessment and has recently joined the Standard Setting Group. She is involved in delivering multidisciplinary education as part of the National Polypharmacy Programme. Working with a small group of clinical pharmacologists, Dr Adeyeye helped to develop a joint NIHR/BPS eLearning resource, ‘Getting into Clinical Research’, which led to winning the BPS Rang Prize 2022 for Outstanding Achievement in Teaching. She won the late breaking poster prize at Pharmacology 2022 for a project aiming to improve medication incident reporting amongst clinicians.
