The Gary Price Early Career Industry Travel Bursary encourages industry scientists to present their research at the Society's annual Pharmacology meeting.
The bursary will cover early bird registration, as well as up to 75% of travel and accommodation costs, with a maximum individual award of £750.
Awards will be based on the number of eligible applications, the allocated budget and the Society’s assessment of the most economical mode of travel and a reasonable standard of accommodation.
Who can apply?
We define industry as scientists/clinicians working in any commercial organisation involved in the discovery, development or manufacture of new medicines.
Applicants must have submitted an abstract in advance and will be Early Career Members. You do not need to have held membership for a minimum length of time so are welcome to join in advance of an application.
Members who have attended a previous annual meeting are encouraged to apply for support from the general meeting travel bursary.

If you would like to share your research at the Society’s flagship meeting, read the guidelines and submit your abstract by by the deadline for the next meeting. Apply for membership, if necessary, and then proceed to apply for the Gary Price Early Career Industry Travel Bursary. The deadline to apply will be early in September 2024.
