Honorary Fellowship

Honorary Fellows of the Society at an event

Honorary Fellowship is the highest honour bestowed by the British Pharmacological Society. It is awarded to senior members (or exceptionally to non-members) distinguished for their sustained leadership role in science.

Nominating for Honorary Fellowship

If you are interested in nominating an individual for Honorary Fellowship, please complete the nomination form and submit to Paul Tizard, the Society's Membership Manager by 31 August.

Selected nominations are recommended by the Nominations Group to the Council for approval. The names of new Honorary Fellows of the Society are usually published in the national press.

The Honorary Fellows' Directory has been created to increase the visibility of our Honorary Fellows and their contributions, and to support networking by providing a useful resource for members to connect with Honorary Fellows with similar areas of interest.
