Hannah Neale is a molecular pharmacologist currently working for the GPCR focused Biotech company Sosei Heptares as a senior scientist.
Hannah’s role is within the Molecular Pharmacology team, which is a key part of the Drug Discovery process. She takes on many roles within the company, from routine screening, primary cell assay development and project leadership.
Hannah studied for an Integrated Masters (MSc) in Pharmacology at University of Bath, which included an industrial placement. After graduating, she went to work at Heptares as a Scientist before being promoted to her current role.
Hannah joined the Society as an undergraduate in 2016 before applying for a position within Early Career Membership in 2018. She joined as a member of the Early Career Pharmacologist Advisory Group and the Industry Sub-Committee in 2020.
“I really enjoy being part of the ECPAG and Industry sub-committee groups as I get to meet with different people throughout the scientific community and can help influence and work towards the Society’s goal to increase involvement and membership from both Early Career and Industrial scientists.
