Wellcome Gold Medal Winners

Background

The Wellcome Gold Medal is normally awarded by the British Pharmacological Society every two years to recognize outstanding achievements by a pharmacologist.

The prize

The winner will receive a medal and £2,000.

Criteria

The candidate will have made outstanding and sustained contributions to pharmacology, based mainly on research achievements.

Eligibility & Nomination

Candidates need not be members of the Society, although only members of the Society can submit nominations, which  should be sent in confidence and without the knowledge of the nominee. Self-nomination is not acceptable.
