Lilly Prize

Background

This British Pharmacological Society prize has been awarded biennially since 1975 for distinction in clinical pharmacology over many years.

The prize

The winner will receive £2,000 and will deliver a lecture at the annual meeting of the Society. Winners are also be invited to produce a manuscript for the British Journal of Pharmacology, British Journal of Clinical Pharmacology or Pharmacology Research & Perspectives, subject to the normal editorial process.

Criteria

Nominations will be considered for evidence of distinction under the following headings:

  • Excellence in research.
  • External awards.
  • And, positions held & excellence in education and training.

Eligibility

Nominee must be a member of the Society. There are no restrictions on age, nationality, place of residence or work of nominees.
