Rang Prize

This annual prize recognises excellence in teaching. Winners will receive £1,000.

Nominations will open in January 2020.


Candidates will have made a significant contribution to the teaching of non-clinical or clinical pharmacology in past five years (i.e. it is not a lifetime award but a prize for initiating recent achievements in teaching)


Nominees will need to:

  • have been a member for at least two years
  • have made a significant contribution to the teaching of pharmacology in the past five years
  • As a member you can nominate yourself or other members. We will accept joint nominations.


To apply you must complete the online form and upload one PDF including:

  • a brief CV (up to two pages)
  • details of contribution to the teaching of pharmacology (up to one page)
  • objective evidence such as student feedback or innovative teaching methods (up to one page)
