This biennial prize supports the professional development of early career, clinical members. Recipients are awarded £500, a lecture at a Society meeting, and up to £5,000 to support a research visit to Australasia - funded by BPS & ASCEPT.
Criteria
Candidates will be assessed on their research proposal, lecture summary, published work, and potential benefit from exposure to overseas research activity.
Eligibility
- Member for at least two years
- Clinical trainee, newly appointed consultant (up to three years since appointment), lecturer or senior lecturer
- Applicants are expected to find a host institution for the visit in advance of submission
- Based outside of Australasia and expected to qualify for a visa

- Letter from the host institute, confirming that they have agreed to host the applicant for the duration of the visit and pay for research costs

- Full list of publications, including journal impact factor and number of citations
