Non Society meetings bursaries

As a member, you can apply for a bursary to help you attend and present at pharmacology related events.


To be eligible you need to:

  • be presenting your work at the event
  • send a copy of your submitted abstract
  • apply by the relevant deadline (applications will only be considered if the start of the meeting is not more than 26 nor less than 6 weeks after the application deadline)

Deadlines for applications are:

  • 31 January
  • 30 April
  • 31 July
  • 31 October


To apply you will need to complete the application form by the relevant deadline.

The Vice President - Meetings will confirm if the application qualifies for bursary support.

To receive payment, you will need to complete and submit our bursary claim form. This must be within four weeks of the closing date of the meeting.

Along with your bursary claim form you must submit:

  • original receipts (keep copies if required, as we will not return these)
  • copy of email confirming the bursary
  • certificate of attendance
  • short report on the meeting

We will only make payments to a bank account in the applicant’s name, unless otherwise stated.
