Maia Troconis, Imperial College London
“I have loved exploring the world of academia and discovering my passion for pharmacology as I’ve advanced through medical school, which allowed me a window to so many fascinating novel therapies and emerging treatments being worked on in labs across the UK. This enthusiasm grew further while working on an exciting novel therapy for Usher syndrome, and I’m excited to explore Pharmacological research in greater depth this coming year.”
