In memoriam: Professor David Brown

The British Pharmacological Society (BPS) is sad to report the death of Professor David Brown. Professor Brown joined the BPS in 1965 and was elected to Honorary Fellowship in 2005.

Professor Brown gave so much to pharmacology in various ways. He was a mentor, teacher and outstanding scientist. His popularity and respect amongst peers are evidence that he carried out his work with style, modesty, kindness and good humour.

- Professor Clive Page, BPS President

The Society will shortly publish a full obituary. Our thoughts are with Professor Brown's family.
