British Journal of Clinical Pharmacology recruiting for Editor-in-Chief

The British Journal of Clinical Pharmacology (BJCP) is seeking to appoint a new Editor-in-Chief, who will be expected to take up post on 1 January 2020. The deadline for applications is 17 May 2019.

BJCP is a leading international clinical pharmacology journal. It bridges gaps between clinicians, researchers, and pharmaceutical companies by addressing all aspects of drug action in humans. The journal publishes invited review articles, original papers, and correspondence. BJCP is owned by the British Pharmacological Society and published by Wiley.

The Editorial Board consists of six Senior Editors, a team of Executive Editors, and a distinguished advisory group of International Editors, led by the Editor-in-Chief (currently Professor Adam Cohen). The Editor-in-Chief has overall responsibility for the strategic direction of the journal and, together with the Society and editorial team, shapes the field of clinical pharmacology and therapeutics.

This role plays a central part in the Society’s research dissemination strategy, alongside the Society’s other two academic journals. The Editor-in-Chief has the opportunity to contribute more broadly to the Society’s research dissemination goals.
