This event allows PSA authors to review and progress their questions so they can be considered for assessment papers.

We are delighted to invite you to the ninth PSA Peer Review meeting, which will be held on 23 and 24 May 2019 at Edgbaston Park Hotel and Conference Centre in Birmingham.

Attendance is dependent on your completed PSA item writing commission. The event is free and travel, food and accommodation expenses will be cover in line with the Society’s expenses policy.

Please note, that the meeting will begin at 10am on Thursday 23 May to allow reasonable travel time on the morning of the meeting.  The meeting will finish by 4pm on Friday 24 May. Please reserve your flights or train tickets in advance to minimise costs.

We are holding a few rooms for those who need to travel on Wednesday 22 May so if you need an additional nights accommodation please confirm this via email to enquiries.psa@prescribe.ac.uk

Car

From Birmingham city centre, it’s a 2-mile drive to the hotel, which should take around 11 minutes. When using a satnav the postcode B15 2RS will take you to the conference centre. 

Train

University train station is a 15-minute walk, with a high-frequency 6-minute service direct to Birmingham New Street.

Bus

Numbers X61 and 63 travel from the Bus Mall, Moor Street Queensway, and from New Street Station, St Martin’s Queensway, to the Bristol Road, at the corner of Edgbaston Park Road. The services all run frequently from the city centre.
