We promote and share good practice in animal research. We do this through:

• funding for the education, training and continuing professional development

• workshops
• activities at our scientific meetings

It is vital that we have scientists with the knowledge, expertise and skills to undertake research using animals.

Curriculum for the use of research animals

In partnership with experts we have created a curriculum for the use of research animals. It will support students who use data or analyse research papers which involve the use of animals.
