Animal Research Tomorrow

Animal Research Tomorrow (previously the Basel Declaration) is an organisation promoting ethically responsible and open animal research.

Animals in Science Regulation Unit (ASRU)

The Animals in Science Regulation Unit (ASRU) is a part of Home Office Science. It is responsible for regulating the operation of the Animals (Scientific Procedures) Act 1986 (ASPA).

ARRIVE guidelines

The ARRIVE (Animal Research: Reporting of In Vivo Experiments) guidelines are a checklist of recommendations to improve the reporting of research involving animals.

The RSPCA's Animals in Science Department work with people involved in the regulation, care and use of laboratory animals, as well as other animal welfare and Three Rs organisations.
