The MRC Laboratory of Molecular Biology (LMB)

The MRC Laboratory of Molecular Biology (LMB) offers:

• International PhD Programme - offering 20-30 new graduate students from the UK and all over the world the opportunity to engage in cutting-edge research.
• Student Placement Scheme - aimed at undergraduate students who are considering a future in academic research and wish to gain hands-on experience of research and working in a lab. Each year, up to 12 internships are available for 8 to 13 weeks, usually between July and September.
• Work experience - providing hands-on experience of working in an academic research institute, with priority given to underrepresented students. Placements may be within an LMB research group, scientific facility or support services, highlighting the variety of roles that underpin their cutting edge research.
