Vane Medal

This biennial prize rewards outstanding research in non-clinical pharmacology. Winners receive a medal and £2,000 and have the opportunity to give a lecture at a Society meeting.

Criteria

  • Career history
  • Contribution to research/drug discovery and development
  • Supporting others by sharing knowledge and skills

Eligibility

  • Member for at least two years
  • Well established professors or at the peak of their career
  • Applications are subject to the Awards Terms and Conditions

Application

You must complete the online form and upload a PDF including the following information. All documents must use Arial 11 and Moderate margins.

  • One page CV
  • One page statement describing how the candidate meets the criteria
  • One page synopsis of the work to be considered
  • Five relevant publications to support the application, including journal impact factors and number of citations
