Recipient of the Geoffrey Burnstock Prize

The Geoffrey Burnstock Prize was launched earlier this year to recognise the achievements of established researchers through their publications.

We are delighted to anounce that the recipient of the first award is Dr Michelle Halls, Monash University. Dr Halls has been recognised for her work on localised signalling of GPCRs, and GPCR protein complexes facilitating sensitivity to ultra-low concentrations of ligand. Research in the latter led to a 2019 article published in the British Journal of Pharmacology.

Congratulations to Dr Halls! We hope to welcome her to a Society meeting in the near future to give a lecture on her work.
