BPS Events Manager, Becki Wingell, has been appointed to the Board of Trustees of Attitude is Everything, a leading disability charity.
Attitude is Everything connects disabled people with music and live event industries to improve access together. Its vision is to see music and live event industries valuing disabled people as audience members, performers, professionals and volunteers, a goal they have been working towards for 24 years.
In her role as Events Manager at the BPS, Becki is passionate about ensuring that the meetings and events she helps create are accessible and inclusive.
During her spare time Becki is also an Events Assistant for Cancer Research UK, where she assists with the running of Pretty Muddy and Race For Life events.
Becki said:
"Being a disabled person myself, I am passionate about improving the events industry as a whole enhancing experiences of all disabled customers. The work Attitude is Everything has achieved up until now is astounding, especially the incredible work around the Live Events Access Charter. I am extremely delighted to be the Shadow Trustee and cannot wait to see what the role brings."
Becki is one of five new Trustees appointed.
