Society Honorary Fellow Sir Patrick Vallance appointed National Technology Adviser

The UK Government’s Chief Scientific Advisor and Honorary Fellow of the British Pharmacological Society, Sir Patrick Vallance, has been appointed National Technology Advisor for the new Office for Science & Technology Strategy. He will take up this role alongside his roles as Chief Scientific Advisor and head of the Government Office for Science.

The new strategy aims to find opportunities for science and technology to solve societal challenges.
