The Society's response to 'The Changing UK Drug Discovery Landscape'

The Association of the British Pharmaceutical Industry has published a new report on The Changing UK Drug Discovery LandscapeProfessor David Webb, President of the British Pharmacological Society, comments:

“The British Pharmacological Society champions the development of pharmacologists across the spectrum of drug discovery and development, and has been particularly active in nurturing young scientists. This new report is a welcome contribution to the Society’s ongoing discussions with the ABPI and other groups about future-proofing the skills that are nurtured in the next generation of scientists. The UK drug discovery sector has an enviable track record but it is vital that organisations continue to collaborate so the UK can remain competitive and keep pace with changes in the wider landscape.”
