Society launches new training Award in honour of Sir Colin Dollery

We are delighted to announce a new award aimed at supporting the discipline of Clinical Pharmacology.

The Sir Colin Dollery Clinical Pharmacology Training Award, created to celebrate the life and legacy of Sir Colin Dollery recognises his substantial contribution to Clinical Pharmacology and the British Pharmacological Society. Supported by the Dollery family, this new award further recognises his commitment to the next generation of scientists, a key objective of our new strategy.

Honorary Fellow Sir Colin Dollery spoke about his life and career in pharmacology with President-Elect of the Society Sir Munir Pirmohamed in 2018.

Sir Colin Dollery, an Honorary Fellow of the British Pharmacological Society who sadly passed away in December 2020 was a pioneer of the subject and we were delighted to honour his contribution to the subject at our 90th Anniversary in December 2021. This award will further his legacy for future generations.
