Patrick Vallance knighted in 2019 New Year's Honours

Patrick Vallance, Chief Scientific Officer to the UK Government and Honorary Fellow of the British Pharmacological Society, has received a knighthood in the New Year’s Honours. The award has been made for services to services to open clinical science.

Professor Steve Hill, President of the Society, said:

I am absolutely delighted to learn of Patrick’s knighthood. It is thoroughly deserved in recognition of his huge contributions to clinical science, pharmacology and drug discovery.
