BPS 2025 Annual Review - looking back on a great year

We’re pleased to share our 2025 Annual Review, which is now live!

The Annual Review captures a year of progress and purpose across the British Pharmacological Society. It reflects the collective impact of our members, volunteers, partners and staff in advancing pharmacology for all.

Inside the Review, you’ll find highlights from across the year, including:

  • Our continued leadership in pharmacogenomics.
  • Expanded opportunities for early career pharmacologists.
  • The launch of a new website shaped by our community.
  • A year of reflection and strategic renewal, as we laid foundations for the Society’s next phase.

The Review also includes reflections from Dr Neha Issar‑Brown, Chief Executive Officer, and Professor Sir Mark Caulfield, President from 2024 to 2025, recognising the energy, ambition and commitment of our community throughout the year.

We hope the Annual Review gives you a clear sense of the difference our community is making, and the strong Society we are building for the years ahead.

Thank you for being part of the BPS and for everything you contribute to our shared mission!

Keep an eye out for our new 2026-2030 Strategy, publishing next week. It reflects on our previous five-year strategy and outlines what we plan to achieve in the next five years as we approach our centenary year in 2031!
