Amin is the Director of the Centre for Applied Pharmacokinetic Research (CAPKR) at the University of Manchester and a Professor of Systems Pharmacology with an active program of training PhD students in various branches of clinical pharmacology. Professor Rostami has authored/co-authored over 250 highly cited articles (>15,000 citations, H-Factor = 64) and he was listed by ISI as one of the world’s most highly cited researchers in 2017 under ‘Pharmacology & Toxicology’. He served as one of the executive editors of Br J Clin Pharmacol for 8 years and was a founding editor of Pharmacometrics and System Pharmacology in addition to serving on the Editorial Boards of several other pharmacology and pharmaceutics journals. Amin is renowned for his contribution to translational modelling (e.g. PBPK) and has been an invited speaker at over 250 international and national meetings. Amin is also the SVP of R&D and Chief Scientific Officer at Certara, where he ensures that various pharma companies incorporate the latest scientific advances in the field of biosimulation into their drug development efforts.
