Gary Price Early Career Industry Travel Bursary

The Gary Price Early Career Industry Travel Bursary encourages industry scientists to present their research at the Society's flagship annual meeting, Pharmacology 2024.

The bursary will cover early bird registration, as well as up to 75% of travel and accommodation costs, with a maximum individual award of £750.

Awards will be based on the number of eligible applications, the allocated budget and the Society’s assessment of the most economical mode of travel and a reasonable standard of accommodation.

Who can apply?

We define industry as scientists/clinicians working in any commercial organisation involved in the discovery, development or manufacture of new medicines.

Applicants must have submitted an abstract in advance and will be Early Career Members. You do not need to have held membership for a minimum length of time so are welcome to join in advance of an application - Early Career Membership is only £30!

Members who have attended a previous annual meeting should apply for support from the general meeting travel bursary.
