Peer review

Peer reviewers play a crucial role in reviewing the quality, validity and originality of papers submitted to the BPS journals. They use their expertise in their particular field(s) to ensure that the research we publish meets a high standard and that constructive feedback is shared with the authors of papers.

Why become a peer reviewer?

Peer reviewing is a great way to advance your career and establish yourself as an expert in your field. You will gain early access to the latest cutting-edge research, and you will be able to share your thoughts and ideas with the authors. Reviewing the work of others can also help you reflect on your own research and writing, and you will gain an inside look into the publishing process itself. Peer reviewing is a great way to give back to the scientific community while developing skills that can help you progress your own career.
