The British Pharmacology Society and the Society for Medicines Research are pleased to announce their 2021 joint meeting, specifically targeted towards all early career researchers and scientists from across the World with an interest in drug discovery.

This two half-day programme will bring together presentations from both internationally recognised speakers and from early career scientists giving them an opportunity to discuss their research through either oral or poster presentations. The final programme will be dictated by the range of presentations and posters submitted for consideration. We are now inviting abstracts for oral or poster presentation. To submit your abstract for consideration please visit click here.

Meeting aims
  • To increase scientists' awareness of aspects of drug discovery outside their own discipline
  • To increase understanding of current trends in drug discovery in order to accelerate the development of new drug therapies
  • To aid evaluation and interpretation of drug properties and data to allow accurate reporting
  • To enhance early career scientists understanding of the mechanisms of drug action and identification of ways of improving experimental design and the drug discovery process
We look forward to welcoming you to the event in June.
