Professor Jennifer Martin appointed new Editor-in-Chief of Pharmacology Research & Perspectives (PR&P) journal


Professor Jennifer Martin, new Editor-in-Chief of PR&P from January 2024.


We are pleased to announce that Professor Jennifer Martin has been appointed as the next Editor-in-Chief of Pharmacology Research & Perspectives (PR&P), the open-access journal co-owned by the British Pharmacological Society, the American Society for Pharmacology and Experimental Therapeutics (ASPET) and Wiley. The journal publishes original research, reviews and perspectives in all areas of preclinical and clinical pharmacology, education and related research areas including articles that disprove a hypothesis.

Professor Martin served as the Deputy Editor of the journal from January 2021 - December 2023. She is the Chair of Clinical Pharmacology at the School of Medicine and Public Health at the University of Newcastle, Australia since 2014, a Senior Staff Specialist in Internal Medicine and Clinical Pharmacology at the Hunter New England Local Health District since 2016, an Adjunct Professor at the School of Epidemiology and Preventive Medicine at Monash University since 2014, and an Honorary Adjunct Professor of Medicine at the Faculty of Medicine and the Frazer Institute (formerly the Diamantina Institute) at The University of Queensland since 2013. She is also the Board Director of The Royal Australasian College of Physicians since 2020.


Dr Ross Corriden, new Deputy Editor-in-Chief of PR&P from January 2024.

We are also pleased to announce that Dr Ross Corriden has been appointed the new Deputy Editor-in-Chief of PR&P. Dr Corriden is the Director of Inflammation at RAPT Therapeutics. He is the former Director of Immunology at Neuron23, former Associate Principal Scientist at Merck, and former Project Scientist and Postdoctoral Reasearcher at the University of California, San Diego.

Both Dr Martin and Dr Corriden will start their new roles in January 2024.


Professor Mike Jarvis, stepping down as Editor-in-Chief of PR&P from January 2024.

We would also like to take this opportunity to thank Dr Mike Jarvis for serving as Editor-in-Chief of PR&P since January 2021.
