Who we are
The Speciality Registrars (StR) Sub-Committee reports to the Clinical Committee to represent the interests and views of StR members. The St Sub-Committee ensures that the needs of the pre consultant clinical membership are catered for by the Society, promotes the specialty and promotes the contribution of these members to the activities of the Society.
How we are organised
The StR Sub-Committee is comprised of (usually) 20 members. It is overseen by its Chair and supported by the Professional Development Manager. Terms for membership usually last three years and members are expected to meet three times a year to perform their duties. Individuals who are not members of the Society may be able to join the Sub-Committee for specific projects or limited terms, depending on relevant qualifications/experience.
