Who we are
The Industry Subcommittee advises Council on matters relating to working in an industrial setting. The ISC’s focus is to consider the needs of members and potential members working in an industrial setting. Special focus is geared towards the Society’s (and members’) relationship with big pharma, biotech, and consultancy sectors.
How we are organised
The ISC is comprised of 10-20 members. It is chaired by the Elected Trustee – Industry and supported by the Engagement Officer. Terms for membership usually last three years and members are expected to meet two times a year to perform their duties. Members of the ISC should preferably have experience working in ‘big pharma’, Contract Research Organisations (CROs), or biotech, with at least one representative with expertise in clinical pharmacology.

The Industry Subcommittee reports to the Meetings Committee.
