Who we are
The Honours and Fellows Panel advises the BPS Council on awarding Fellowship and Honorary Fellowship titles to members of the Society, as well as manage nominations for national honours. The panel works in conjunction with the Membership & Awards Manager to ensure smooth delivery of its objectives.
How we are organised
The panel is comprised of seven to eight members who usually serve terms of three years, which includes the Society President, President Elect, a former President of the Society, and the Chief Executive Officer. Additionally, up to three Fellows or Honorary Fellows who are not part of the Council may be appointed as members, as well as up to three early career pharmacologists.
Reports to:
The Meetings Committee reports to the Council.
