Who we are
The Early Career Pharmacologists Advisory Group (ECPAG) represents the interests of the Society’s Undergraduate and Early Career members (members who are less than five years post-PhD or medical qualification, excluding career breaks of parental leave). The Group provides two-way communication between these members and the BPS Council & Committees to ensure that the needs and activities of early career pharmacologists are met by the Society.
How we are organised
The ECPAG typically consists of 10-12 members, chaired by the Elected Trustee – Early Career Pharmacologist, who is elected by the Group, subject to ratification by Council. The members themselves are either Undergraduate or Early Career members of the BPS. The Group’s staff lead is the Engagement Officer. Terms usually last three years and members of the Group are expected to meet three times annually to carry out their responsibilities.
