Who we are
The Awards Panel advises Council on all matters relating to the Society’s prizes and awards. The Panel assess nominations for awards, prizes, studentships, and lectureships, submitting final report outcomes to Council for review. Additionally, the Panel will review current awards and prizes and make recommendations where any alterations are considered necessary.
How we are organised
The Panel is overseen by the President-Elect. Terms for the Panel’s membership usually last three years and members are usually expected to meet two times a year to carry out their duties. Individuals who are not members of they may be able to join the Committee for specific projects or limited terms, depending on relevant qualifications/experience.
Reports to:
The Awards Panel reports to the Council.
