Who we are
The Education & Training Committee advises the BPS Council on all matters relating to education, teaching, training, and continuing professional development for all types of pharmacologists. Members of the Committee are representative of diverse backgrounds and specialties, such as basic pharmacology, education experience, clinical pharmacology and industry.
How we are organised
The Committee is comprised of 12-20 members. It is chaired overseen by the Vice president – Academic Development and supported by the Professional Development Manager. Terms for membership usually last three years and members are expected to meet three times a year to perform their duties. Individuals who are not members of the Society may be able to join the Committee, depending on relevant qualifications/experience and needs of the Committee.
Reports to:
The Education & Training Committee reports to the Executive Committee.
