Have your say about our new website!

The British Pharmacological Society is pleased to announce that we will be carrying out an exciting new project to redevelop the main BPS website. To ensure that our redesign fulfills the needs and expectations of our members and wider pharmacological community, we invite you to please complete this short 15-minute survey by Tuesday 30 April 2024.

Why do we need a new website?

We are constantly looking to enhance our services and resources to better serve our valued members, as well as the wider community. One such service is our website, which is a vital hub for information, news, resources, and connection within the pharmacological community. We last carried out a major redevelopment of our website in 2015, and since then the content on the site, as well as the Society and its membership, has grown and evolved.

It is now time to redevelop our website to ensure it:
  • effectively meets the various needs of our members and wider audiences.
  • is well-structured and users can quickly and easily find the information they need.
  • works seamlessly across all devices, including mobile.
  • is future-proofed for modern and changing technology, security and accessibility requirements.

We value your input

Our website exists to serve you. It's therefore important that you are given the opportunity to share your honest feedback about your experiences with our current website (good and bad), as well as your thoughts and ideas for what you want our new website to be. We will share feedback from the survey with our new website supplier, Liquid Light, and we will work together to develop a new BPS website that is fit for 2024 and beyond.

What's next?

We will share regular updates throughout the project to let you know how it is progressing, including an announcement of the launch date in the month leading up to the site being unveiled. We will likely also put out calls for volunteers to help with certain stages of the project, so keep an eye on your emails if you are interested. In the meantime, we ask that you fill out the survey, and forward the link to your colleagues, students, employers, and/or peers (whether they are members or not) as we would like to collect as much feedback from the wider pharmacology community as possible.

Thank you in advance for your support. If you have any questions regarding this project, please contact digital@bps.ac.uk
