Applications for Vice President Clinical
 
The Society is seeking applications from clinical members for a Vice President Clinical to take office for a three-year term of office from 1 January 2025, after an initial 'elect' role on the committee from mid-2024.
 
Eligibility: A clinical pharmacologist and a voting member of the British Pharmacological Society (Early Career Members, Full Members, Retired Members, Fellows and Honorary Fellows).

This role directs and guides the Society to serve the needs of the membership with the experience of being a Clinical Pharmacologist. This role includes chairing and working with the Clinical Committee to promote and advance clinical pharmacology, overseeing clinical education and training and working in partnership with the Society and external stakeholders. 
 
Clinical Committee takes place at least three times per year during UK business hours, 9:00-5:00 GMT/BST.  The individual will also be invited to attend Executive Committee meetings (approximately every 6 weeks) and quarterly Trustee meetings as a 'non-trustee contributor'. All meetings have online attendance options.

The application deadline is 31 May 2024. If more than one eligible applicant applies, an election by the Society's voting members will take place in June.
