The British Journal of Pharmacology is recruiting for Editorial Interns

The Editor-in-Chief, Professor Péter Ferdinandy, is supported by an international team of 10-14 Senior Editors and a globally distinguished group of Editors. The Journal is seeking to recruit one or more Editorial Interns to assist the Editor-in-Chief and Senior Editorial team.

The Editorial Intern position is intended to give the post-holder experience of high-level editorial work on a leading international journal. The position most suited for applicants within six years of completing their PhD. The Editorial Intern has some freedom to choose their responsibilities depending on their interests and capacity in mutual agreement with the Editor-in-Chief; however, the principal role is to contribute to the development of editorial policy and initiatives alongside the Senior Editors.

The new Editorial Interns will be expected to take up their posts in January 2023. More information on this role can be found in the job description.

Interested applicants should send a short CV (up to 2 A4 pages) and a covering note explaining why they should be considered to Charles Whalley (charles.whalley@bps.ac.uk). Applicants may be invited to interview via videoconference.
