Bioorthogonal & Bioresponsive, a RSC Symposium, will take place in Edinburgh on 7 and 8 June 2017. This meeting, which is specially addressed to PhD students, postdocs and early career academics, is the first of its kind as it will showcase in a single event the state of the art of these two complementary approaches with increasing influence in the chemical biology and biomedical fields.

The programme will include an exceptional line-up of leading international experts, including Prof Chris Chang (University of California, Berkeley), Prof Wenbin Lin (University of Chicago), Prof Annette Beck-Sickinger (Leipzig University), Prof Stuart Conway (University of Oxford), Prof Mike Hannon (University of Birmingham), and Prof Jose Luis Mascareñas (University of Santiago de Compostela).
The symposium will include a poster and a flash presentation sessions to provide opportunities for delegates to share and discuss their last research. Selected contributions will be invited to give a short talk during the meeting or to present at a flash presentation session prior to the poster session.
