2017 sees the sixth Big Biology Day at Hills Road Sixth Form College. Big Biology Day 2016 was a huge success with 30 exhibitors and over 2000 visitors!

We're looking for volunteers to help us with out Medicine Makers activity at the Big Biology Day Cambridge.

How to volunteer:

  • Write a short expression of interest on why you think the experience would be valuable to you (no more than 200 words)
  • Please send to by Friday 22 September 2017.

Further detail:

  • Must be a British Pharmacological Society member (all membership categories welcome to apply)
  • Previous public engagement experience is not essential – we believe there’s a first time for learning anything
  • There is an easy to read facilitators guide on how to use the kit
  • We do ask that you are enthusiastic and have the willingness to communicate to the wider public about pharmacology/principles, attendees can vary depending on the event.
  • We shall cover all reasonable expenses while you are volunteering for us (depending on your shift and the BPS expense policy)
  • Reasonably incurred travel expenses will be covered in line with the Society’s Policy.
  • Volunteers are expected to be within a reasonable commutable distance from the festival location
