  • Overview

Sense about Science is running a 'Standing up for Science' workshop at the University of Manchester on Friday, 27 March 2020. This is part of the Voice of Young Science network, nearly 4,000 early career researchers from across Europe who are committed to taking an active role in public discussions of science and evidence.

This full-day event is FREE and for all STEM and social science early career researchers (PhD students, post-docs or equivalent in first job), trainees and medical professionals.

Join us to find out how to make your voice heard in public debates about science. Meet researchers who have engaged with the media or politicians, learn from respected science journalists, find out how researchers can inform policymakers, get hints and tips from communications experts, and find out how to involve the public in communicating research.
