J R Vane Medal

Background

The J R Vane Medal was established by the British Pharmacological Society in 2001 and is awarded for an area designated by Council each year.

The prize

The winner will receive  a medal, £1,000, and be given the opportunity to present a lecture at a meeting of the Society.

Criteria

The designated area for the 2016 award will be ‘Molecular, cellular and signaling pharmacology’

Eligibility

Self-nomination or nomination by members only. Nominee will ordinarily be expected to have been a member for at least 2 years. There are no restrictions on age, nationality, place of residence or work of nominees.
