Historic Prizes

Aptuit Prize

From 2007 to 2010, Aptuit provided the Society with a prize, for young pharmacologists working in integrative pharmacology. The award was made on the basis of published work, which had to have a substantial in vivo (systems) component.

Gaddum Memorial Award

In 1966, the Society commemorated the services of Sir John Gaddum to pharmacology by creating this prestigious award for important contributions in the field of pharmacology or a related subject. It was awarded until 2016, afterwhich the name was repurposed for the Gaddum International Lecture.
