For Clinical Pharmacology Month we are holding a medical student competition. If you work in a medical school in the UK or Ireland then you can get involved. Become a local facilitator and hold your own Clinical Pharmacology Month event.
Role of a local facilitator
If you become a local facilitator you will need to:
- organise a competition date for October and agree it with us
- coordinate the event
- book event venue and any equipment needed
- secure one or two local clinical pharmacologists to score oral presentations
- promote the competition (and let us know how)
- support medical students with their applications
- mark all abstracts submitted by your local students by Wednesday 3 October
- notify local candidates of the outcome of their submissions by Friday 5 October
- send us the details of the local winner, along with photographs of the event by Wednesday 31 October
- send the presentation scoring sheets to us
- support your winner at the national round at our annual meeting, Pharmacology
