Lenna Cumberbatch BA MBA FRSA

Lenna Cumberbatch

Lenna is a diversity and inclusion (D&I) strategist with experience of working in the public, private and charitable sectors in the UK and the USA.  She is a D&I advisor to several organisations including the Wellcome Trust, UKRI and the Research Executive Agency at the European Commission. She has worked and volunteered in various roles for organisations such as the Royal Society, the University of Cambridge, and The Terrence Higgins Trust.  She has a broad experience base having worked in healthcare, information technology (IT) and as a laboratory research assistant. Lenna’s Bachelor of Arts is a double major in English and Women’s & Gender Studies.  Her MBA dissertation was on revalidation, the appraisal system for doctors in the UK.  Lenna is a Fellow of the Royal Society for the encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce and she is currently undertaking a PhD at the University of St Andrews researching the strategic implementation of D&I initiatives and their long-term impact.
